Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, problem solving and maintaining all production equipment.
The technician will perform all routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance, maximize equipment availability, and reduce unsafe conditions.
Essential Functions:
Install, maintain and repair all plant mechanical equipment.
Troubleshoot machine malfunctions using electronic and PLC techniques.
Capability to wire and troubleshoot electrical wiring.
Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems on equipment.
Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime.
Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.
Modify equipment as necessary to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability.
Perform preventative maintenance checks and inspections as required.
Perform lockout/tag out procedures according to company policy.
Must be able to work mandatory Saturday's when needed.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of:
wiring and electrical troubleshooting PLC experience Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics Ability to perform basic algebra and geometry.
Reliability, dependability, and self-motivation Must be able to perform physically demanding work, such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, twisting, and bending for extended periods of time.
Proficient communication skills Pay/
